‘The Kingfisher’ – Greetings Card

King of the birds, this art club piece uses the most stunning colours which look amazing! It was fantastic to use some colours here that I simply wouldn’t even get out of the box for my regular pet portraits.

The original was drawn on Polydraw drafting film. The ref was from Pexels, selected for an Art Club draw-along in the Bonny Snowdon Academy. I love these live draw-along sessions because they always push me to draw subjects I wouldn’t necessarily choose myself! And of course it works beautifully as a card.

My greetings cards are professionally printed complete with envelope in a protective sleeve, and left blank inside for your own message.
