Fluffy Bunny

A delicate little bunny, perfect for spring/summer well wishes, or perhaps as an Easter card.

There was a lot of ‘subtraction’ in this piece – laying down colour, and then taking bits out again using a variety of erasers and the magic Slice tool (a ceramic blade which is a learning curve all of its own, and something I’m finding hard to get a consistent result with, but has a really enjoyable effect when it goes well!).

I think what was most enjoyable for me on this one – apart from loving the light touch needed – was that although it was a tutorial I went rogue almost from the start *and didn’t stress about it*! My drawing has come out quite different to the tutorial, and instead of letting that worry me (it’s gone wrong, it’s not as good… etc etc) I really enjoyed creating my own interpretation of this cute little fluffy bunny.
